Product Description
PEPTAMEN with Prebio1 is designed to maximize GI health by restoring the balance of colonic microflora. PEPTAMEN with Prebio1 may be particularly beneficial in long-term tube-fed patients, those with diarrhea and patients on antibiotics.
Prebio1 is Nestlé’s unique blend of the prebiotics FOS (oligosaccharides) and inulin that help contribute to balanced microbiota throughout the entire colon for maximum health benefits. Prebiotics help to maintain a healthy digestive system by fermenting in the colon, selectively promoting the growth of beneficial bifidobacteria, and discouraging the growth of diarrhea-causing bacteria.
Like all PEPTAMEN formulations, PEPTAMEN with Prebio1 is ready-to-use, isotonic, lactose- and gluten-free, and available for oral or tube-feeding use. The mild vanilla flavour can be “customized” to meet your patient’s taste preference with one of our eight varieties of flavour packets.
